Safe Arrival and First Day of School!

And we're off! I arrived on Sunday evening 9 hours later than expecting due to delays, but still safe and sound!

Today, we started our first day of school which went beautifully. I am looking forward to a wonderful year! I posted a first day picture below :) 

It was a strange mixture of joy and sadness upon arrival. I was so excited to see everyone again, but over the summer, 8 students that I had known and loved were placed in other locations by the government. So we have a tiny classroom to start off the year. We would appreciate prayer for the transition everyone is undergoing: the students who are starting over in a new place, the director and his family as well as the staff as they grieve the loss of the students, and the students who are still here that have had to say goodbye too many times. Thank you! God is faithful and we are trusting Him in all this!
