End of School Year and Start of Summer

I am just now sitting down to catch up on the last month and a half of happenings! I will try and do my best to summarize through pictures!

Last Week of School
Our last week was filled with fun events and some closure to the school year! I was blessed to be joined by Kimberly, another good friend of mine, who helped out in the classroom along with Kylie and Jalyn! We took the kids on a picnic to celebrate our year together and had our big piano and guitar recital on the last day of school! Enjoy the pictures below!
Lots of fun helpers in the classroom!

Arriving Home
I was blessed to be greeted by my wonderful family, niece and nephews and have been enjoying a wonderful mixture of family time and preparation for the next school year so far this summer. I would appreciate prayers as I am currently in the process of raising funds to return. I plan to return mid-August and am looking forward to being reunited with my "Mexican family!" Thank you for all your support!

New Little Ones and School Program

Two New Little Ones
We received two precious new little ones this week and are excited to see the Lord begin the healing process in their lives. Please be in prayer for them!

School Program
The kids had a wonderful opportunity to showcase all their hard work over the year in school. Our program was filled with songs, skits, dances, poetry readings, and many other exciting school projects! We have also been blessed with a visit from Miss Kylie and her sister! Miss Kylie taught with us for a semester last year and the kids are so excited to see her!

Our Week at a Glance

We had an amazingly fun and busy week! Our time is winding down, so we're trying to make sure we fit everything in that we can.

Girls From English Class
We finished our English classes last week, so this week was our celebratory/wrap-up week. We invited them all over for pizza and a movie one night. We also had the opportunity to take a few of them out to a tourist area near the city where we enjoyed a live mariachi band at a restaurant and building memories together. To top everything off, we were blessed to have the chance to invite as many as possible to church with us today. Seven girls accepted the invitation and joined us. Before we left, we shared the gospel with them very clearly and shared our testimony. We are now asking you to join us in prayer for these dear girls, that they would respond to His call. Here are some pictures!

Teacher Appreciation Day
We were spoiled rotten this week for Teachers' Day! We received a wonderful sign with notes all over it from our students along with delicious apples. At lunch, we were surprised with an amazingly created cake put together with fruit. We were also each given a beautiful flowerpot. Thank you all for all that you did!

We are eagerly anticipating our upcoming school program this week and our piano/guitar recital next week. So many exciting things!
